BANNU:      Bannu district is located right at the heart of Southern districts, 190Km away from Peshawar. It was an important pathway in the past to central Asia. Its population is more than three & half million. Majority of the population live in villages.Still the Urban area is overcrowded with people.
      Bannu is called "Bano", "Bani" and "Bani Gul" in the local pashto language. There are myriad of theories about the origin of the word, “Bannu”. But the most widely accepted view is that the word Bannu is derived from “Bano” the wife of Shitak-the founder MORE
